Need advice, going to move to another server

Hey everyone.. I just wanted to know what you think about my situation. I created my char on Tonberry in Open Beta, but after some time I realized I made him all wrong and once I saw this it was too late because Tonberry was locked from making new characters and has been ever since. I won't be able to get that Phial of Fantasia for another 12 days and thats like an eternity...

So now I absolutely cannot stand playing him anymore and want to make him again on another server that is open to new character creation... only problem is, which one is a great one with both a lot of English speakers and Japanese(Yes i need to be on the Japan data center)? Thank you everyone.

Try Valefor or Titan, I made a few characters on there and the people here are really helpful. Met a lot of great English and Japanese speakers and yes I can speak both But I mainly play on Titan now because I know a few people who started there, I was testing Valefor because I kinda liked the summon. I'm mostly playing Titan now on my secondary character and really like it here, also I like the "titan" name 'cause of the anime "attack on titan", you can see from my sig. lol

Hmm Valefor seemed a little light on population.. but Titan you say? Lots of Oceanic or other nationalities? Do you think there would be enough English speakers on Titan to allow me to play ok? I don't have any problems with Japanese players, in fact thats one of the reason I am playing on the Japan Datacenter, but I just need to have enough English speakers too so I can be in a good FC and such. Thanks.

The best option might be to wait for a few weeks anyway. It's still the first launch week and new servers are being added too. Wait a while for the population to settle down and you can research a more suitable home more easily. If you pick a new server now it might get locked to funnel people to the new servers or be deserted in a few weeks.

Yea i see your point. I'm still researching so hopefully you all can help me choose.

Masamune had quite a few english speaking FC's actually, only one I personally know of with more is Tonberry, which I've been trying to get into.
Tonberry and Masamune(legacy) are the main Oceanic/Asian(Outside JP) servers that I know of.
You're already on it, so i'd say just look around!

Not sure about the last one, but I think it's basically "population increase between 8/25 and 8/26"

I would be going to valfor as that's where I played ffxi and was a good community then and have heard good things about it on 14. Good luck!!
