Mouse Cursor Disappears When Clicking! Please look into this!

    Hello,

I am currently a GUI design lead who has gotten into playing your splendid game!

I know this is intended, but your mouse cursor disappears whenever you left click or right click. Square Enix should look into this and add a checkbox that allows you to turn this effect off.

The reason for this change is that the mouse disappearing can throw the user's experience off by reducing overall control over their character. For instance, if you wanted to spin around very fast and apply a spell onto a person, you would have to take the extra split second to see your mouse re-appear, THEN click on the person. Furthermore, during normal questing/leveling/instancing, that extra second to find your mouse could mean you have just targeted a mob later than you were supposed to. Lastly, if you are wading through a sea of mobs and decide to switch targets quickly, it will disappear each time you click. (Yes, I use tab targeting a lot but sometimes you just can't rely on it!)

In many mmo's, the cursor doesn't disappear when left clicking. This is good because it allows the user to get used to the mouse sensitivity and controls, and doesn't deprive them of control for even a split second. So if you are frantically retargeting, your mouse will not disappear all over the place. Please consider adding a checkbox for this option for all the users that may want this feature!

Here is my suggestion (just to get the base idea, nothing fancy):
