    I'm having the same issue, I bought it from the EBGames website as a digital copy. I got the pre-order and the in-game items, but then I got an email saying it was denied and then I got this problem. I didn't get another email with a 20 digit code, just my pre-order code.

    I also found the email with the code I needed in my Spam mail from webhelp.v4 and am able to log back in. Was playing through EA up until today just fine. Think its pretty damn funny though that registering your EA code didnt automatically activate your normal access, and that for whatever reason it took until several days after official launch for the system to suddenly go "Hey none of you guys are registered with a regular access code" and kick us all out at once.

    Just my luck, I ran into this situation too.. but the 2nd code I received is the wrong region.. having to contact Customer service, I'll be lucky to play sometime next year.

    I've bought my copy from GreenManGaming and I've received an email from them on the 27th too regarding the access code. Apparently, there are 2 access codes give, one 18 digit code and another 20 digit code. Must have missed it or something, but I've take the 20 digit code and put it in for registration and succeed! Now, I'm back in the game as usual.

    Also, it is worth to take note that your account and character will be preserved for you have an option to do so after re-entering the registration code.

    So, check your email from the 27th, maybe you've missed out the code or something.

    This ended up being close to my problem as well. I ended up finding there were two codes the second one was identified as being for the game activation, rather than the early access code.

    Thanks for the tip and hopefully this helps others.

    I just fixed mine by searching through my email - mainly my spam folder - for this new email that came out. It was definitely there, but that doesn't mean this isn't a complete and utter cluster f*ck. This is 3 different keys I've had to screw with since purchase. The product key that I had to convert into an early access key and now a NEW key that I need to enter again? What's the point? If we had early access then we clearly made a purchase...

    I digress, look hard for an additional key in your email. As previously stated, if you bought it through the FFXIV site it is going to be from webhelp.v4 or something akin to that. Otherwise it's likely going to be an email from the retailer from which you made your purchase.

    Found out the problem. I bought my game from gamestop as a digital down load. The code we got from putting in the pre order bonus code for the Early Access code not the real games code. To get the real games code, Go to the Gamestop app, go to my games and hit refresh. It should say FF14 can be downloaded now. Now click on Product code and that code will be a different 20 digit code from the one we put in on the 24th for early access. And boom im back online.

    So I bought my key from mmoga.com, I received two keys from them. I already entered both of them somewhere so I have no clue what I'm supposed to do now. I can't log in and I have no e-mail either.

    This worked for me~

    On a side note this registration process and having 3+ codes to enter and reenter has made this experience by far the most confusing and disorganized process i have ever encountered when starting a new game.
