Please make instruction clearer in the forum's Select Main Character page.

here we NEED TO CLICK ON THE STAR icon on the pic of the character. I clicked on the banner of the character, and it changed color from grey to brown, so I thought that was how to select it. But Save Changes button saved nothing.

It took me 10 minutes trying to figure out. I couldn't navigate the forum to try to find the answer. I was stuck. Wherever I clicked, it refreshed and took me back to Select Main Character page.

If not for this thread on support site >> http://forums.na.square-enix.com/showthread.php?t=4864 I probably would still be pulling out my hair screaming why the change wouldn't be saved properly.

Please at least write "Click on the star icon on your character in order to set main character." Thank you.

Shameless BUMP on my own necro post, because just right now, my friend who's a new player was screaming about how the forum doesn't save which character she selected. I had to search for this thread to read how I solved my problem in the past because I couldn't remember how I got past that problem. Seems the forum interface on that page hasn't been improved. Worse yet, that support thread I mentioned is no longer available.
