I have noticed while running around and riding a chocobo that part of the head shoots towards the sky or just outwards.
I didn't have this problem a during the beta. Any idea how this can be fixed?

Sounds like artifacts being caused by the GPU. Check drivers and temperatures.
Like what do you means shoots towards the sky? The head comes off? Or it stretches? Either way I have no idea what it is but clarifying might be helpful to others. Also saying what you're hardware is.
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.1GHz
GeForce GTX 660
12288MB RAM

Looks like artifacting, check your temps when it happens, although only happening with your chocobo is a bit weird. And make sure you have the latest drivers.
I have the latest drivers installed and I'll check my temps but doubt that's the problem, I have some pretty decent cooling. I have no idea what could be causing this. I even decreased the graphic settings and resolution lol. I am at a loss. So far I only have seen this with chocobos. Nothing game breaking just kind of annoying. Thanks for your helpI'll just have to hope this randomly fixes itself.

Thing is it looks exactly like artifacting, if you don't find high temps try reinstalling. That's the only other suggestion I have. But is certainly odd to have artifacting only on a specific model, that may indicate corrupted data.
I'm sorry but did anyone else laugh so damn hard at he's head?
LOL. MOHAWK CHOCOBO.
Tried reinstalling and it fixed nothing.
make sure you dont have any overlay like team speak that will cause artifacting like effects in FFXIV
