Looking for a solution to fixing voice acting. I have volume sliders unmuted and at full. Spoken language is set to EN. All other voice works fine on my machine. Anyone else having this problem or know a possible solution?
Thanks in advance!

Not ALL cut-scenes have voice acting, so far (up to the level 30 main story quest) the voice acting is reserved for the actual movie-like spots where there are auto-advancing subs on the bottom of the screen and very few click-to-progress scenes, most of which deal with interactions with the Scions.
Does anyone have a flat accent lol.
Limsa: Drunk old ye pirates.
Uldah: I forgot.
Grid: English.

I'm having the same issue. I thought the game didn't have voice overs until I got into a cut scene and there was a quiet pause in the music and I heard someone speaking the subtitles very, very quietly. If there was music playing I wouldn't have been able to hear it. The sound balance isn't right at all. My sound settings are set to default and most of the time I just hear no voices whatsoever.
simple solution for this would be reduce the sound of your music levels, since everything by default is maxed, reducing music will make it quieter while keeping everything else full
Do you guys have a dedicated sound card?
I already knew this, I haven't had any voice acting on any cutscene and I have completed the entire main story. Not ALL cut-scenes have voice acting, so far (up to the level 30 main story quest) the voice acting is reserved for the actual movie-like spots where there are auto-advancing subs on the bottom of the screen and very few click-to-progress scenes, most of which deal with interactions with the Scions.
I've adjusted the sliders in many configurations and stilll no joy on any voice.
My friend is having the same problem. So I'm gonna watch this thread and wait for the solution. He didn't even hear the narrator describing his city-state when he started the character!
*edit*
I asked around frantically, and another friend said "you need to disable secondary device and set device output to standard speaker". I cannot test if this works, as I am not the one who has this problem. But I hope it fixes the trouble for some of you guys!
