I agree entirely. This needs to be changed. I am okay with limiting on-screen objects from loading, but in no way is it okay for Mobs/bosses to not render. It's a horrible oversight that NEEDS to be fixed asap.
This 1000% and PLEASE disable the use of chocobos during FATEs...lock people out until they withdraw their Companion.

I have this same problem..I gave up doing fates once I got to dragonhead. Idont know if this is just a big issue for PS3 users or not but it's horrible. The fate monsters only load for me if I'm standing right on top of where they spawn most of the time. A fate like Svara or Behemoth? Forget about it. The bosses never load for me nor do other PC's, this includes party members and as a healer this creates huge issues. When there's 50+ people doing a fate it's impossible. I wonder if maybe SE can add an addition option to maybe hide/show other PC's, if that would help the load times. As it is now is unacceptable and unenjoyable.
YES! I can't even do certain fates in the South Shroud because they literally just aren't there. I see people attacking, but by the time I can see an enemy it's dead already. It's a combination of them being too weak and the enemies not being visible to me in the first place

Yes!! I was waiting for someone to tackle this subject. I was praying that the new servers would stop this problem, and allow us to play fine with seeing the enemies and the players, buts its ridiculous. Showing up to a FATE on time only to watch a 100 people swing at air, for finally the mob appears and he's damn near dead. And they play that victory music that touches your soul because you had no victory, you got no experience! Yes, please SE fine tune the FATE system so it doesn't lag lilke that.
I even have a problem with when I do see the mob, and I use a move, my character on screen doesn't even do the action, but I can see the GCD move normally. So I'm spamming moves, knowing that they are working because my GCD is moving, but my character is doing nothing but being frozen in position, and sliding around frozen once I move him, like he's in mid cast. Please address this SE. Thank you kindly.
P.S.- Now that the new servers are up, if it happens again, I'll try to take a picture of the madness.

Just lost the fight with odin at 1% becouse he spawns in a low lvl zerg area(the hell where you thinking putting him there!?)
We lost the fight ONLY becouse of him not loading while the low level zergs loaded instead.
Load priority - NPC - Party - Mobs - Random zerg - Companions - Minions. <- This load sequence makes sense
Load priority - Random zerg - Companion - Minion - NPC - Party - Mobs. <- That sequence makes NO sense at all and its amazing it is this way.
This is a problem that needs attention ASAP. Behemoth just spawned on Coeurl and my god. I couldn't get him to load unless I was under his legs. I died so many times because of invisible attacks and AoE. Please SE, give FATE mobs and bosses load priority over players. I don't need to see them.
I was on Coeurl too, I could see him unless I was next to him.
