I give up. You have crushed my dreams Sqeenix.

I have been waiting for FFXIV since I heard about it last year.
I was lucky enough to Beta since Phase 2.

I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition for the PS3 the first day it was available, directly from Square Enix because I figured I wanted to make sure everything went smoothly.

I paid nearly $100 because I have loved every FF since the first one. I've sunk easily 500 hours into the origional FF Tactics alone.

Early access was bumpy for all but I was patient. I submitted email tickets which were only responded to yesterday. One was outright cancelled because they claimed they had more important issues to deal with.

I saw many people who had the same issue as I did (wrong region PS3 code) get personal attention from Bayohne and for Sony to get their issue fixed late Saturday night and to get a refund of the game price. I kept up hope for me.

With no fix seemingly on the horizon I took to trying Live Chat but because I'm too busy with work I can't get home in time and always got kicked off because they go home at 6pm.

Today I finally get in to Live Chat, I think everything is great! I get told SE can't give me a new code, Sony has to do that. But the PSN updated last night so try updating it and use the same code. Doubtfully I ask about another person who posted a transcript from SE Live Chat that gave them a code. It was confirmed nope, can't give you a new one.

So I get hurried out of chat, delete my PSN, re-install and lo and behold it doesn't work. I have no new code. No fix. I went on chat on my phone while I was at work just so I could get to an agent before they closed. I hope my boss doesn't find out.

Sure enough here's someone elses's Live Chat...

You: Multiple times. It always gives me the same PS3 code.
Agent Austin P: Ok, I will provide you with a new code.

You: No. That was my only concern.

This is an open letter to someone for help. I've been patient, but I dislike getting outright lied to by your customer support. I just want a damn PS3 code. That's all. I'll deal with getting a refund (at the very least I deserve that when other people who only missed 2 days already did).

Knowing my luck so far it's probably been delivered and stolen from my front porch ...
