    Connection Lost to Server 90000 - Excellent Connection to Server at Character Select

    For some reason I keep getting Connection Lost to Server, while my internet is working fine. Here is how its going on:

    1. Open Launcher
    2. Login
    3. Hit Start
    4. Get Character Selection Screen
    5. Before picking my guy, connection to server is showing Excellent
    6. Get in (after a que or several attempts of getting the 1017)
    7. I can move, but everyone around me is either not moving or shifts immediately
    8. The Send / Receive on the top right either show it is doing one or the other, rarely both at the same time.
    9. Any kind of interaction takes 5-10secs if I am luckly.

    TEST:
    Getting a great internet connection wirelessly.
    While I have FFXIV Windowed, I can watch YouTube, CrunchyRoll, surf all perfectly fine.
    Turn all that extra stuff off, doesn't make a difference.

    Not sure what is going on, tested this on JP servers to avoid the login issues we have been having, same deal. Internet is running perfectly fine.

    Need some help, guidance or other post with similar issues.

    Connection is running through Time Warner Cable - 30mbps Down / 5 mpbs Up - Central Texas.

    I have had some luck by connecting through a VPN first and then getting on. The stutter did not happen has frequently (easily playable) but the system still kicks me out with a Connection Lost to Server 90000 error. Test onn both my NA Ultros Server Character & JP Typhon Character. I honestly don't know if the VPN helped or if it was just dumb luck, but just adding one more nugget to this post.

    Additional I called Time Warner Cable - Central Texas - and they are not seeing any connections issues at all and I can confirm my internet is running smoothly wit the exception of FFXIV.

    Happening full force now.

    I can easily login, but after only a few secs get booted out with Connection Lost to Server 90000. In one instance I got the 10120 Error. Was playing flawlessly for almost 55 mins before this occurred.

    Ok so I have discovered something that seems to assure me it is not a connection issue.

    This is happening so often when I login, I can already tell when it is going to kick me off. So right when everyone seemed to stop moving but me and either the Send / Receive drop to 0 I hit ALT-Tab to get back on the forums. During this time I forgot it was still running in the background and amazingly it didn't drop me.

    So when I started playing again, it is as if it connected briefly allowed me to move some what, but I could already tell it was going to kick me off again so I tried ALT-TAB once more. Low and behold I am not getting kicked and apparently when I get back to the game for a brief moment it sends / receive traffic then starts it thing again.

    That is the best way to describe it, though may if you all test it out you can see what I mean. For most of us that are already familiar with when its going to kick you, I would try it just to see if it keeps you connected.
