    Cannot launch FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn (PS3)

    I picked my preorder up from Gamestop on Tuesday afternoon, and when I got home I entered the code on the back of the manual on the Account Management screen. Looking at Mogstation I have 33 days on my account still, but I'm not sure why I'm getting this message.

    "Cannot launch FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn. Please register the promotion code included with your package or download. A re-install will not be necessary."

    "A system error has occurred: -2147309046."

    I have been playing a few hours the last few days, anyone know what the issue could be?

    I ended up getting the client to work. I went to the PSN Store and saw there was an update, downloaded it, and now the client works.

    Don't know if they are related, but that's all I did before trying again.

    Now I get server not responding is maintence still going on there as been no uodate saying it was extended

    It wasn't a system update, but a store update. Like I said though, I have no idea if the two are linked in any way.

    You mean the PSN Store (app) update, not the FFXIV game client update?? I had PSN Store update prior to make the FFXIV standard digital copy purchase, 2 days ago.
