How Long is an Account Locked after Failed Password Entry?

As the title asks, how long is an account locked? I've been trying for an hour and unable to log on because someone some where must've thought my SE ID was theirs, and entered the wrong password multiple times locking me out from a night of playing. Of course, this is probably only the first of many hurdles to make it onto the game.

Apprxly 30 minutes, unless this has happened more then once, then your likely to receive an email notifying you that you must follow an emails link they will be sending you that will have you reset your password. If that email does not come you can just request a password reset and that to should clear your suspension.

Thanks for the reply! Right after you posted I was able to get into my account. Someone else in my Free Company was having a similar issue in regards to logging into the Lodestone, and I had logged into the Lodestone for the first time last night after logging off, so it may be related to that. Just odd that if this is on SE's end there aren't more cases of this cropping up.

I dont know how long your account is locked after you have the message but resetting your password via mail will reset the timer and you can login without waiting
