Topic Summoner Relic quest GM HELP

So I am a level 50 summoner and beat the main story quest and decided to do the relic reborn quest and Gerolt gave me a quest to get him a Erudite's Picatrix of healing melded with two savage might III materia. Now I knew this was strange because healing is for scholar and casting is for summoner but the quest said healing so I decided to buy it from the market for 270k. I finally melded the two savage materia III but for some reason the quest symbol is still red and I can't give in the item? I'm pretty sure this is a typo and everyone is telling me it casting so what i'm asking is the quest a typo or I am doing something wrong?
