Bonus item code invalid.

Since this is the technical support section, I am hoping an SE person will actually read this.

If someone not SE, knows the fix/step that I am missing, please post

about me: 1.0 player, beta player since phase 2. Bought game for early access, did digital CE edition.

On early access (when I was actually able to play on Balmung), I got the early access item in moogle mail.

On game launch, I got two emails. One was the purchase of the game info, with a digital rights code. The second said "in game items" and under digital rights, says one isn't needed and its automatic.

I went into mogstation, and it says I have the regular game, I have to pay for CE digital upgrade, and when I went to "bonus code", it says I have an invalid code. I cannot add a "platform" since it says I already have Windows PC registered (the serial number I was given for early access).

I can play on JP servers just fine. Why is mogstation not seeing I'm already CE? Why is my bonus code invalid?

Because you are trying to add a new account code onto an account you already have. You bought something you shouldn't have. You need to use the upgrade option. A 1.0 player was already given the game for free, they told you not to buy the game again about a month ago. But a zillion people must have missed this too because you're not the only person to do it. Wait to see if SE changes their policy of not allowing you to use a new account code onto an already made account, or try to get a refund and use the upgrade option.

-The game is given for free, on launch day. I wanted early access, so I bought it. Don't care about the "free" part.

Whether or not I was 1.0 shouldn't matter, if I bought the CE, and I get a CE code, the code should register and see me as CE.

And, where did they say "don't buy the game"? I saw the "free part" but don't really care, but never saw anything about "don't buy it, because if you do, we'll take your money, your codes won't work and there is nothing you can do about it".

They made a thread about it saying someone who already purchased 1.0 would not be able to register the windows version again.

I know your going "WTF I didn't see that!!!!" A lot of people didn't, and I'm not telling you to not do anything about it and pay another $20. I merely telling you what happened and what you can do about it. This issue has been discussed on this support thread for days now, it is unknown if SE is going to do anything about it. Your best bet is to try to get a refund.
