got to be fair, why do we have people sitting on servers once the log in. go away for hours, and then return to play cause they are still connected and in game. in all fairness, get them off and let someone who is actually going to play online. its annoying to see people sitting around in game while doing questing and running pas them for two hours.

i just spend 4 hours periodically spending 5-15 mins a time to try and log in.

and if they want to let people go inactive in game, just unlatch it after they fix the servers. let those who want to play play, and those who do not want to be active get kicked offline.

This is a highly requested feature that has many threads about it.
They has stated that they are looking into implementing one but are giving priority to getting the new servers up and running first which should be happening sometime this weekend.

building, testing, and software patching is faster than physically shipping unpacking and setting and booting and checking new hardware.

i still feel they could have done a better job and focus differently. adding a timer to kick you from game, and a timer to make you wait between attempts to a server that has given you a 1017 error. this would allow more people to enjoy the game for the time it will take to make this intended fix they are focused on right now. the amount of people in the realm of my work and friends who were interested in playing and those who just was waiting for the end of the month to laps for pay, have all quit even thinking of playing. for the player base that has yet to buy the game, SE has made more loss from the errors in the game now. the people i talk about are those who are happy with a an hour of play, so that everyone can share what the current servers can support.

Yeah. They also have to configure them correctly and check the settings.

I hope they do it right, and quick ; ; Been trying to play with my FC/Friends since the 26th.. Make it so that new characters, and people can get into Hyperion.. Plus, the rest of the game of course lol. Jp servers have a lot of NA/EU people in them right now.. so.. transfers will be interesting, when it happens >.<
