Healing puts out too much threat

It seems like anything but Cure puts out so much threat when fighting trash. It just makes killing packs of monsters before a boss more stressful then it should be. Nobody dies but as a tank, its pretty stressful having to run around chasing monsters and being OOM because i've used all my mana on Flash and I can't afford to use my MP combo because it doesn't put out any threat.

Hopefully this is a non issue once I get Shield Oath though. We'll see!

Huh? I'm level 32 atm and have yet to see what you're speaking of. Quite often the mage is close in hate but that is part of the metagame. Keep enough hate on the right enemies at all times. So far any small challenge the game has presented there was always a method of overcoming it already available to us.

It is difficult to help you if I don't know your exact situation. I rarely run out of MP. If you have groups of mobs to deal with and a stray leaves the pack you can recover it multiple ways. Provoke + a GCD enmity skill. Or Shield lob if you think it'll be enough or just run over and put one combo on it and go back to finishing your original target. Flash is for gaining initial hate. As long as no one else touches it you should be able to keep hate on them fairly easy. I use Flash every 3rd combo or so and that is usually enough to get me thru the encounter. If my MP starts to get low I use Riot Blade on enemies i have already built considerable hate on.

If my party is appearing to have considerable difficulties I stop them and talk for a minute to see how we can improve and move on.
Tanking can be challenging but not stressful. Comes with the territory.

Yes, there seems to be something up with not enough enmity on the tank where one cure attracts the monster. Even as a low level Arcanist, I have to wait until carby is at half HP before I cure him. Even still, I pull hate!

I'm just glad I have my companion chocobo to tank for me only to pull hate from him too, poor guy! T___T*

being lv.11 fighting a common mob @ lv.13~15... they seem to really hate casters!

I personally haven't had issues with healing aggro with experienced tanks but the best advice I can offer is use all of your tools available if something starts whacking you, or if you're the one tanking, keep individual mob's hate off of your healer.

Just need to hold back on spamming sure, and make sure tank has solid hate before using a large cure! AOE cures also create ridiculous hate

The only time I have a problem keeping the hate on mobs between bosses is when the Conjurer decides to spam Medica over and over and over and over and over. That skill could use its enmity tweaked with a sledgehammer! But otherwise, I have very little issues, have a few minor issues with some casters, but its mostly directed to the fact that they don't target what I am targetting and I have to split my enmity skills.

I have had no trouble holding threat.
I find 1 or 2 flashes right after shield Lob then just flash every 10-15 seconds after and everything is fine, as long as everyone is focusing the same target.

This sounds like user error. Healing does create a decent amount of threat, but if you're simply standing there spamming flash on trash mobs then you're doing it wrong.

I'm also unsure if it is a bug or something, but the linked mobs run straight to me whenever the tank pulls, due to the regen spell running its course on the tank.
