Currently it will take atleast 1 week of 24/7 to hit 50 with mining or logging and many people may use bots to skill up faster so would making it harder to level up hinder the botters and slow them to hit 50 and ruin the market?

It's already pretty fast, why make it faster? Though, making it slower would kill some of the appeal of even being a gatherer. Honestly, from what I've seen, there's not alot to be worried about with RMT. I just wish there were more leves to do for the gathering classes.
there is leve for each level bracket you just have to unlock them with DOW and DOM first then fieldlevel will show upIt's already pretty fast, why make it faster? Fishing already has exp comparable to crafting. Mining and botany are the ones with abysmal exp gains.
There are entire level 50 linkshells already on non-Legacy servers. If anything, they already made leveling everything insanely too easy as is.
Because we often like to base these things on the people that powerlevel. If you count open beta, which many of those people likely participated in, plus early access it has been (guess what) at least a week. Let's assume they did this 24/7 and suddenly they meet the requirements stated by the OP.
Mining and Botany are god awful to level. There is a reason they are god awful to level, but it doesn't change the fact they are.
Leveling, in my opinion, is already to easy. I would rather them not make it easier... I love this game and I'm gonna play it regardless. But I feel a lot of the challenge has been taken out of the leveling itself.
I'm just a bun boy, doing bun boy things.
That's not adding challenge, that's making it tedious. It just needs to be fairly balanced.
Now, people say this, but there really is a middle ground.
I personally believe you should have time to get used to every level. Something to get comfortable with. Get familiar.
Sort of in the same lines of setting up a scene. You have to allow time for everything to sink in so your audience gets into the mood. Go too fast and it becomes an unengaging chore, go too slow and it becomes a tedious chore. The balance is in making it an experience the whole way through.
you really gotta saves your leves to level mining.
