    Win 8 and FFXIV?

    Hey guys, am thinking of upgrading to win 8 and give it a go.
    Has anyone tried this game on win 8 yet? if so, how does it run and all?

    Currently running it on Windows 8 and it currently works fine. Most likely as it would on Windows 7.

    FFXIV ARR runs great on my MSI GT70 laptop which came with Win8.

    Getting used to Win8 is another story. The Charms Gestures really bothered me until I figured out how to disable it. Once you figure out how to get around Win8 and how to turn things off, its just like Win7. You can always install mods to get things like the Start button back too but I found it unnecessary to do so.

    works fine here with Windows 8 64bits. but if your current OS is stable and you can wait, windows 8.1 comes in something like 2 months.
