Legacy players expected to wait... again.

I just read Yoshi's update on the server issues. It sounds to me that the updates to duty finder and additional worlds will only benefit new subscribers.

Those of us on Legacy servers aren't getting additional capacity or load. We aren't getting a working queue. We aren't getting the ability to make a second character. 5k cap is 5k cap, and guess what? They clumped a LOT of us onto each Legacy server...

Instead, what we are eventually getting, is an afk bot that most of us Legacy people don't even want or maybe server xfer which most of us won't use.

Why are the players who have committed the most to this game and hung in there through 1.0 getting taken care of LAST?

Because they know you'll continue paying a subscription regardless of the state of the game as you've demonstrated it once before.

because they spent all of 1.0 taking care of us, gotta do something to benefit all the people whining that they didn't get legacy.

I didnt read anywhere where it says Legacy players need to be last on anything.......

If I recall correctly, in their plans for new servers, they also plan to improve load balancing and the duty finder, so I'm not sure exactly what you think you're being left out of. Or is it just that you spent so long feeling so special because you're Legacy, that being treated exactly the same as everyone else is now a shock to your system ^^

If I remember correctly (what do you know? http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/73680) there isn't any indication that "load balancing" or Duty changes will have any affect on the total number of concurrent connections to a individual world. The legacy servers were over capacity before they even started limiting login!

More new worlds allows for more new players. If they choose, existing new players can roll on a new, less crowded world. Legacy players can't do jack.

If we were being treated like everyone else, then next week when all the new hardware went live the legacy servers would see an improvement. That is not implied anywhere in this announcement.

Guess what?

I got to play, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and today I will go home and play.

Most of the NA/EU server didn't get to play.

That being said, I feel no ill will towards SE for giving them free time either.

So basically your're Legacy. You've had no trouble playing every day. You admit NA/EU Legacy have been screwed. But hey, we aren't paying for it.... Why butthurt?

If I can't login to a game, I've now bought TWICE do you really think the fact I'm not paying a sub right now matters at all? What about the time I've spent since EA clicking my 0 key all week? We have every right to be "butthurt". Without many of us this remake would have never happened...

Unless you bought the PS3 version than you have never bought FF14 twice. I'm a Legacy member and Holder of the 1st Collection Edition. don't make us look bad. We are not entitle to anymore than what we paid for. Everything that came with legacy was at the grace of the producer. Be thankful for the things that we have that some people can never get. Besides ,you have experience the game for some time now , what about the people that haven't but want to but cant because of this situation, should they become the preemptive members and receive exclusive things just cause of this? Consider yourself lucky.
