TLDR: We're looking at an AFK boot system and we have the new server hardware just waiting on internal testing.

All in all a good read and I like what was said, especially giving an exact state of things as far as getting the new servers up, looking into an AFK boot and that they will be providing some form of reward/recompense for the players that have been affected.

And with a long holiday weekend here in the US it really blows servers have been literally full from 1pm to 7pm now that I've literally been clicking for hours.

The worse that could happen? The new hardware conflicts with the old hardware due to improper testing and fucks everything up. Then no one can play.

Having to test the equipment before putting it to use is a basic necessity for something like a server.
A server that doesn't work can cause problems with the other ones, especially if data is shared across them, which could result in all of them going down at which point it would take even longer to then have to fix all of them and get them back up.

How about free world transfers for people who had to choose a server that they weren't planning to be on, instead of being able to join a world that their friends are on?

he totally forgot about people who already bought the game on psn europe...from day one or before that...and cant even register the game because se account doesnt recognize the service.and no...psn versions doesnt need a code. and our problem?
