So I can't put my EA and CE cap in the armoire? Why not?

I can't really use the after level ten, but they are kinda special to me. I think this is a mistake.

I'm not sure if you mean the armoury, but if you do, the moogle cap does fit in it, that's where mine is right now. To put something into the armoury, just right click it and choose...put in armoury i think...may be place in instead of put in, but w/e

He means the armoire inside the inn room. Not the armoury inventory.

I also wonder why cant I put anything in there at all ??

It might need to be fully repaired to be put in the armoire. Other than that, it might not be eligible to be stored there, yet.

Please explain step by step what you do to put it in armoire.

Here is what I do and it doesn't work:
1. Put Moogle Cap in Armory
2. Repair Moogle Cap to 100%
3. Go to Inn and enter your room.
4. Interact with Armoire and select the 1st out of three options "Store an item".
5. At the top of the window taht appears it will say "Equipped"; click on it and select "Armoury chest (Head/body/hands)".
6.
*Try to drag the moogle cap from your Armory to Armoire = Fail doesn't work.
*Try to rightclick the moogle cap = Fail there is no option appearing to put it in Armoire (Only "equip"/repair/return to inventory/discard appears as options)

The main thing that people miss is that your item needs to be at 100%, so have it repaired.

My theory is that the armoire is only for vanity items that haven't been released yet.
