Hi Eld! OK, so I have NO clue what to do for this quest. I went to the guy in ul'dah and got an egg (water i think). I then talked to the old guy next to the person I got the egg from. What do I do now? It mentioned to keep it warm or something, so I have the egg on me and not in my retainer or in bazaar. Any ideas? Thank you for your help! ^^

Yes this is the question at the moment. How do we upgrade (assuming it's an upgrade process) the first hat to the to the r15/20/30/40 ones? Neither the website nor the NPC's in game mention anything about it that I've found.

I also noticed that I have a water egg which isn't unique. then I got an archon egg that is unique? and we only need the elemental eggs to get a hat right? then whats the unique archon egg for?

You use the unique egg + the 3 elemental eggs you can get to receive this hat.

On FFXIV Pro they have a few other hats shown but I'm not sure how to go about getting them. For now I'm going to keep collecting the eggs and see.

Has anyone tried painting the?

I have no idea what the right crafting discipline would be, but the right discipline, plus the right colouring items, plus the hat and crafting...

I would assume someone would have mined up a recipe in the data if it existed.
