These webs are pretty expensive (on my server), especially with how many I need to make progress on my crafting log. Where is a good place to farm them?
So far I've gotten all of mine from toto-rak because the Diremites I kill don't drop them.

In North Shroud, there are level 26-28 diremites just over the bridges to the west.
I made a quick guide for these guys, since they need to be farmed by all weavers (Paying the 45k-60k that you'd need to level past velveteen is pretty absurd).

Have a watch, leave a comment, etc!
I just continued to make cotton and occasionally there would be diremite webs as a reward from leves but now I'm stuck on flax and those are pretty expensive too
Starting at level 20 you can go to quarry mill and turn in a Tripler, a levee traded craft quest allowing you to turn in the quest three times per allowance, which requests cotton coifs of gathering (cotton yard vendor is alchemy guild vendor). After the first turn in and until you hit level 25 this quest will net you 10 webs, about 1000 Gil and 20k weaving Exp per turn in, which is 30 webs 3k Gil and 60k Exp per levee allowance. This type of quest is available for all crafts and at all levels. Craft something of the previous rank, and turn it in at a Tripler to "convert" materials of one tier into the next higher tier. If anyone locates other cheaply crafted turn in triplets like this let us know. It is quite easy get 100-200+ webbings this way before leveling out of the cotton coif window
I tried this a few times. Don't know where you got webbing from.
I go east of Fallgourd, over a bridge a little, and north. There is an area that about six spawn pretty quickly, and now that i'm around 40, i can wipe them out pretty quickly. I get more sinew, but in an hour or so of farming (and i was the only one there the whole time) i got close to 99 of regular, and 20 or so rare. Even when i was appropriate level, it was a good spot, as i could do them without grabbing more aggro, and it was even smoother then as i was slow enough that they were already respawned before i killed the last, so non-stop farming.
I've gotten most of mine from levequests in Ul'dah.
Might have to try those leve's, farming in North Shroud is just a nightmare, there are only 8 mobs that drop the stuff and every weaver / leatherworker on the server fighting for them. I got about 40 webs in 2 hours competing with lvl40+ guys.
I can't believe suck a key crafting item has been left to so few mobs, they need more mobs that drop these.
Yes and a higher drop rate for the ones East of Fallgourd Float as well.Might have to try those leve's, farming in North Shroud is just a nightmare, there are only 8 mobs that drop the stuff and every weaver / leatherworker on the server fighting for them.
