Account issues. PC & PS3

Having played 1.0 from the beginning, I was really looking forward to getting my wife to start playing once the PS3 version was out. I bought the PS3 version and set up my wife's account. Now I find out that her account ONLY works on PS3 and my account only works on the PC? This is very upsetting. I expected to be able to log into the PS3 as well as PC, same for my wifes account. How does one go about adding service to both platforms?

One copy for each platform for each service account if you want to be able to play cross platform. PS3 code tied to a single SEN, which tied to a SQEX.

Crazy as it is, it was communicated. But you effectively buying more game time and game platform license.

This is exactly the issue I just encountered. But what I want to know is....

I have PS3 version, but I want to play on PC. So I have to go buy the PC version and register the PC code to my SE account. Fine, I understand that. After having done that, let's say I create two characters. Can both characters be logged on at the same time but on different platforms on same account?

In other words. Multi-playing? Does linking a PC code to my SE account that has my PS3 code allow me to multi-play?

Play Cross-Platform with Windows PC & PlayStation 3 Users
FFXIV: A Realm Reborn is available on both Windows PC and PlayStation 3, and players from both versions will be able to play together regardless of the version they purchase!
Logging into the Same Account on both Windows and PlayStation 3
It is possible to play with the same account on both Windows and PlayStation 3 platforms. Customers who own a copy of FFXIV for Windows and wish to use their account on the PlayStation 3 version will need to purchase a copy of the PlayStation 3 version. It will then be possible to use your characters on either platform by tying your existing service account to the PlayStation 3 version upon launching it for the first time. Similarly, customers who own a copy of FFXIV for PlayStation 3 and wish to use their account on the Windows version will need to purchase a copy of the Windows version. However, please note that your account will only be able to log into one platform at a time.

Multiple copies of FFXIV: A Realm Reborn for PlayStation 3 may be registered to a Sony Entertainment Network account. Please note that only one Sony Entertainment Network account can be linked to a Square Enix account, which allows up to eight service accounts.

Collector's Edition Digital Upgrade Service
The Collector's Edition digital upgrade offers customers the ability to upgrade their standard FFXIV account to digital Collector's Edition status via the “FFXIV Service Center” website that is scheduled to be opened at the launch of official service, which then grants the in-game bonus items included with the Collector's Edition. Customers in possession of the Collector's Edition for either version 1.0 or A Realm Reborn will receive these Collector's Edition items without needing to purchase the upgrade.

• Can friends and family play simultaneously if they are on different accounts?
• Can I use the same character and/or SQEX account for both the PS3 and PC versions?

I bought the hard copy CE for my significant other for her to play on her ps3. We been playing for the past week no issues. today i wake up and found out that the ps3 account is link to my main account and she cant no longer play on her ps3. at first i was thinking i made the mistake of linking it to my main account. Her account receive the pre order and so my main account. Any other person had this issue
