behest with 15 players?, you are lucky if you kill 5 mobs, running and running helping in nothing bc mob is dead in 5 seconds, in 8 players behests you participate much more
I don't know about much more, things still die extremely fast...and there's only 20 mobs.
I didn't get that impression anyway, felt kinda same as before, things die really...really fast either way...i guess you get in a few more hits this way lol![]()
I don't think so, behest are funniest now, I kill more than before, and mobs dies slower, really... 15 players killing the same mob xD, when half attacks the same mob is already dead and the other 7 just watch
Well, i'm against the behest changes too. Someone said it could become like campaign...THAT's a thing i'd love to see here. Behest was good, the party nerf made it bad and now its even worse. Or you solo it or you need to camp the NPC as if he was a NM...everyone with finger at F8 and ready to spam confirm.
IMO the dev team is kinda lost atm. Hopefully they will find their way before its too late (hopefully the way out so we can have some pro devs to take over the place...because this current team, except by some sparks of quality like the aggro icon system added last patch, are worthy of a lol...or maybe some crying...if crying really purify the soul, we all are going to heaven when the world end in 2012 =P).
how can be like campaign, if the current party limit is 8 without alliances ?Also, behest with so many people hurt the concept to be viable both for solo players and groups. Basicly if nobody is in that camp you can't do nothing...
I said before the addition of public companies info it would of been cool, just change it to tags, and people would party up still to get buffs. But now with public companies and the changes to behest, and the deadness of certain camps, plus lag when too many people are in one area, they couldn't. I think a campaign would be in a newish zone (unimplemented zones people hack into that we can't get into) and would revolve around the "grand companies of eorzea"
Absolutely! Campaign do was easily soloable and it never had any kind of party restriction. Anyone coud join and all rewards were calculated individually. I always loved soloing campaign...even at mid level (obviously that you cannot expect a campaign of same rank here as they were at FFXI...because it was always a lv50+ content there)...i had so much fun interacting with NPC armies and playing with them...almost as much as i did when it was crowded with players.
Campaign was a so awesome content people started to having feelings regarding the NPCs, just like happened with besieged. How many times in West Ronfaure you were taking some nice orc beating and, when you see the message tat the army arrived and you saw Cerane putting her Aegis between you and Gnadgad and then you thought "Thank god you arrived!". THIS is what Behest lacks...its poor, its simple and, after the nerf combos its not even useful anymore. That's why i was SO looking foward to Hamlet Battle...it does was sounding like a similar version of campaign...but seen it was just discarded by the new dev team.

How about just putting up 2 battle wardens at each camp?
