I finally got in on Excalibur for the first time since Beta 4 last night around 11 PM CST after a 300 person Queue. I wake up for work at 5:30 AM and work till 3:30 get home at 4:30... this is before "prime time" yet all the middle and high school kids must be beating me to the punch, or stay at home basement dwellers and / or handicapped folks on disability or poor families on welfare that pays more than 2 minimum full time jobs.

1017 every time...
So I finally get in! And i see all the rants on the forums about no AFK boot, so i'm like heck yeah, i'll just park my dude by the fountain and i can play after work!

...Excitedly i turn my monitor back on after work ... and the opening Cinematic is playing. it does have an AFK boot guys & gals. It might be a good hour or two i don't know.

There may be no "Mythical AFK Boot" but after a Douche post like yours, It's nice to see that KARMA still works once in awhile...

I'm starting to wonder who the douche is again... Again, they pay to play the same game you do, they can log in, off, and do what they please in game and it's against no rules. I agree that if you're sleeping/at work etc you should log, but calling someone a name, because SE dropped the ball? Really? Lol

I mean, I disagree with their little rant about pay wages, and the like, like they are all high and mighty is completely BS - the fact of the matter is, the problem is servers.

There are bots, and gold sellers in game, my last concern is a legit player staying on game while they go grab something to eat or whatever for a couple hours etc so they don't have to wait hours on end to log back in. I think folks need to get their priorities right on what the real problem is right now. AFK fixes would do nothing right now.

I'm beginning to agree with you here, AFK boots would probably just be snatched up by the next available bot that is spamming the log-in button millions of times faster than a human can. Though it is hard to believe that people are willingly paying for these accounts only to know they will be banned at some point. It would be nice if there was a "report bot" option in the game instead of using the report harassment option as that really isnt the same, at least not to me.

Sadly, I am truly at the point where I am going to say "Screw it" and keep my character logged in so I can play when I want to instead of waiting for 3-4 hours after I want to in order to actually get into the game.
