Retail CE copies stuck in Atlanta. 3-day post-release "trial" ends tomorrow morning.

I purchased two physical CE copies of FFXIV back on May 25, right after they went on sale. They supposedly shipped out on August 22.

They're sitting on a pallet in Atlanta somewhere, and after some phone calling I discovered that they're there because SE's store uses UPS-to-USPS for shipping, and UPS will sit on packages until it has enough to justify shipping them to your local USPS for last-mile delivery.

Everyone only gets three days from release to enter purchase registrations before getting locked out of accounts. No idea when, or even if, we'll see our purchased copies, and the probability of them showing by 2AM PDT tomorrow is kinda slim.

Anyone have a link for SE's live chat? SE goes to great lengths to hide all means of contact except ones they pretty much ignore (e.g., email - has anyone ever received a ticket response from SE via email?) and I suspect it'll take a CSR adding a little more time to the "trial" clock to allow for the delays from this interesting decision on shipping.

I'm sure you mean FFXIV and I'd call those who will deliver, not sure if SE can ever help in this.

Yeah, FFXIV - I hit the 'V' but alas, it's been one of those days where even the keyboard has it in for me...

I know SE can't help with shipping delays, but they can roll back a trial clock when someone can prove a purchase was made and a shipping delay is in effect.

They could, but it's not likely.

I feel your pain! I just went through a similar situation with Amazon.I purchased the C.E. in July, paid extra for 2day shipping. I didn't realize that FedEx leaves the last leg of delivery to the U.S. postal service! FedEx got the shipment to my local post office August 26th. Tracking said out for delivery that day at 6:30a.m. And then poof gone! Never received it. amazon blames FedEx, who then blames U.S.P.S. and round and round we go. Finally Amazon gave me a refund and I was able to find a Physical copy (PS3) at a GameStop today. Point is if your seller took longer than the time they told you, they should give you a refund. Might be hard to find a C.E. now though.
