Registration Code for ps3

Ok i looked around and have not been able to find out my problem but i would be alot of help if you all can help. So i just got my game today for the ps3 and have not been able to register my registration code. I went to mog station and my account type is none and my service account is inactive. I was a beta tester so i already have a character so i wanted to keep her and i have also tryed making new service account but the registration code i got with the game for a 30 free subscription is to short. If any one can help that would be a big help.

Did the PSN redemption rejected your 4-4-4 code? Or the 4-4-4 code was accepted and you got the game installed successfully but you can't log in using your existing SQEX ID (and select a service account)?? Quite a lot of variable not clear up front to say why not working.

It's not the registration code on the red and black card! It' the one on the back of the instruction manual. Do NOT create a new service account,make sure after you type in the code( ps3 account management,redeem codes) do not reinstall. Start the game as you did for beta and select the account that shows your beta character. Hit next( not create new service account) and you should be good to go. I had a problem with the code only because B's look like 8's on the manual. Retyped correctly and bingo!

so whats the point of the code on the card then? im confused

The code on the card I think is for the squeenix site, and will show under my games. Not sure though, I got that card in other squeenix games in the past.

ok i got you ill try this as soon as i get back home i was confused because the code on mod station was a 4-4-4-4 code and the one on back of the little bock let it 4-4-4 is that the one i have to use right

As answered above, and to make it clearer 6-3-6-3 code is for Square-Enix Members (social profile) to register any Square-Enix games (product registration). The login for SEM is different from your Square-Enix Account (SQEX) which is for FFXIV Service Account.
