How often do servers become available for creating characters again? (EU)

Hey all!

I just got the game today and well.. I can't even create a character because all EU / NA servers are closed.

Is there any chance of them reopening before a maintenancy? Since I know some people on the Phoenix server whom I'd like to play with..

Keep an eye on that thread. They update daily and if you read each update carefully, the servers seem to switch back and forth as to which ones will allow you to create. The NA servers are doing the same, my friend was able to create one early this morning.

All are closed basically.. They try to put me on japanese servers, I think I pass to that...

I can log in to Phoenix server quite easily so it might be unlocked in the very near future.

Thanks for the heads up! I've been sitting here spamming for around 9 hours straight and didn't see a single EU server available during that time :/ I know it doesn't matter lagwise since NA and EU servers both are located in canada, but I'd like EU simply for timezone sake.

Many of the new character restrictions are being enforced in part with the log in restrictions caused by massive strain on the servers. SE is in the process of expanding their NA/EU data centers and anticipate it to be completed early next week. I would speculate that after this stress is alleviated from the servers, we should see a lot of these character restrictions being lifted.

In the meantime, they seem to lift these restrictions pretty irregularly. As was pointed out already, I would keep an eye on This Page for any updates.

That's correct. I couldn't get in after getting the game Monday. However, I was able to create and join a server yesterday. This morning, I had no trouble logging in, then some trouble logging in, then got in. I think it just depends on the load and how many people are on at that one point

Love not being able to log on in 2 days...i understand its a "new" game..but come on Square...
