Arr crashes when press play

Hi, I can log into launcher fine but when I press start/play I get a black screen for a few moments then it crashes. 'A problem has occurred ffxiv' error window pops up.

I ran ff14 and the beta no problem.

System is windows 8 64, quad core 3g, 8g ram, nvidia GTX460 1024

I have done everything I can think off.
1) updated nvidia drivers to latest (even tried beta ones of clean install)
2) installed and updated directx 9.0c
3) run as administrator
4) reinstalled arr from all Internet links and my full version collectors disc.
5) run in full screen/windowed low high settings

I requested a support ticket and for a generic reply saying they will reply in up to 2 days (that was 3 days ago)

Any help or suggestions please

I had same problem and tried everything. Finally the fix for me was to uninstall and reinstall the game. My issue was my first install was early access and when game went live I continued with that install for a day then ... has stopped working .. window error on load screen. Since I reinstalled the game Ive had no problems.

No luck for me I have uninstalled and reinstalled from early access other links and then with my collectors edition DVD the other day. Still no luck tho.

Well I finally solved it myself.
I deleted some olds game folders from ff14 and ff14:arr beta that was in 'my games' and in the config file off ff14:arr I edited the line intro movie=1 to a 0
It worked after that perfectly.

Hope this helps anyone out there.
