    Is it better just to let Garuda go all out or to put her on obey so tbat you control when contagion is used. Seems like obey would be tbe way to go. But im not sure if thats too much of a dps loss by restricting her. Any thoughts?

    If you don't do it manually she will cast the extension before you cast Thunder. Also, her basic spell is more DPS than her other abilities, so you shouldn't have her use them anyway.
