Lol please tell me your kidding? Compare the dmg with other dps aoes and you'll see how bad the dmg is on shadow flare. I know dmg isn't going to be the same across the board for the dps classes but if you take the dmg of the aoes the other dps classes get and it blows shadow flare out of the water. Theres absolutely zero comparison.

Put it this way, my lvl 19 thaumaturge aoe does twice the dmg shadow flare does. My 18 archers aoe does more dmg. There's no way lvl 18 and 19 toons should be out dmging a lvl 50 spell. I don't see the logic in that.

Uh, first. My shadow Flare ticks for 60-70.

Second, it has 10 ticks.

That's 600-700 damage.

It's DAMAGE OVER TIME in addition to everything else we can do.

Thats fine an dandy but when the other classes can throw out 1 or 2 aoes and out dmg it twice over, I don't see how its good. I get were a dot class, but I still think its far too behind others. The class was thrown in in the last phase of beta. I don't see how the class is up to date with everything

The range on bane is too small to be all that useful because the mobs basically have to be on top of each other. Miasma is terrible. We have other weapons but our main aoe is lackluster. We can all agree to disagree, Thats fine. Its all matter of opinion. I just feel that as a lvl 50 aoe spell, it SHOULD do more dmg then it currently is if were all worried about being "balanced" with other dps aoes.
