Our higher lvl skills are lackluster. Shadow flare in particular while awesome looking, does terrrrible dmg for being a lvl 50 spell.

Enkindle is bleh at best for such a long cooldown. Seriously. Tell me what good spells we have higher up. Our pets dmg sucks, our nuke sucks, our dots take 7-10 seconds to get off depending on what you usr, then an additional 3 for them to tick. I mean seriously, what spells do we have that you can honestly say are good?

He does have gear issue, but even so Shadow Flare for a level 50 skill is still really lackluster. For the last skill that you get once you max your level, you would expect something more... better.

Like what? It's better than all the other classes since it's useful for both AoE, and ST.

Dragon Kick? How exciting.

Chaos Thrust? How exciting.

Wide Volley? How exciting.

Flare? Lolit'ssobad.


It's literally the best and most versatile level 50 damage skill.

actually now that I checked it out again, its ticking for upper 40s but still. If you can honestly say a lvl 50 skill ticking for 40-50s with a mix of amd keep gear and blues, than your extremely ignorant. The skill flatout sucks and needs more to it.

40-50 constant damage for a wide aoe spell of its type is amazing, you are just looking for something OP, you are the ignorant one.

Lol please tell me your kidding? Compare the dmg with other dps aoes and you'll see how bad the dmg is on shadow flare. I know dmg isn't going to be the same across the board for the dps classes but if you take the dmg of the aoes the other dps classes get and it blows shadow flare out of the water. Theres absolutely zero comparison.

Put it this way, my lvl 19 thaumaturge aoe does twice the dmg shadow flare does. My 18 archers aoe does more dmg. There's no way lvl 18 and 19 toons should be out dmging a lvl 50 spell. I don't see the logic in that.

Uh, first. My shadow Flare ticks for 60-70.

Second, it has 10 ticks.

That's 600-700 damage.

It's DAMAGE OVER TIME in addition to everything else we can do.
