its a item you get with code for buying ARR version of game, much like Garlond Glasses/Specticels, it gies you extra xp while you are under lvl 10.

as for fate they give far too much xp, I would like the OP to point me to a quest at lvl 30 heck even lvl 40 that gives me more then 20k xp like what you get from fates around high 20s low 30s and the ammount increases as well as you get higher since the xp you need to lvl increases, so yea if you want to "Finish" the game in lets say 2months tops then go with OP and ask SE for increase in Fate exp, quite frankly I dont see SE saying yes to this, as this is their Flagship game atm until the make another mmo or another cashcow.

the fan base for FF7 is I belive drying out since they milked it quite enough and are trying to milk other offline titles with spinoffs and extra versions but I dont belive their sales match up to what a MMO can provide.
