ps3 on pc

on the IGN live stream the community manager said that you can log in to the pc version if you have the ps3 version and it's easy. is this correct? I'm having problems it keeps asking me for my windows serial.

you need both version the register the ps3 version to your pc version and you play with your account on both, i think this is what he meant

From what I have read, yes you can use the same account on both PC and PS3, but you still have to purchase the game for both platforms and register it. From that point on, you can login using the same account for either one.

The game is account linked so yes, you can play your character on both platforms. You just need a copy of the game for each platform.

As long as it is linked to the same FFXIV Service Account, yes. From Mog Stations, when it is linked, you should see Windows and PS3 as the platforms. At this stage, there seems to be some issue to link PS3 (platform) to an existing service account.
