20 new NM - i say pretty good low Rank content! :D see it for what it is!

I like the addition of the 20 new NM pretty much.
They all have no unique designs, the are merely larger versions of existing mobs with a unique name and everyone should see them for what they are. Notorious monster.
Understandably many people know NM only from FFXI, but you really should stop comparing them.
I understand that there are some people who seem to dislike the lower level of difficulty and fast respawn times BUT IMO those NM were not meant to be camped by R50 parties.
They drop equipment for R25-30! People who not yet have high ranked classes will have a good reason to form parties and camp this gear (very decent and great looking for those ranks)

Some of the NM have a fairly high drop rate but some have a low one. If you have a full part with rather low rank people than having long respawn times would be rather a waste of time.
Some of that gear is simply not worth being camped all day!
It is good content as it is ay more fun forming a party and hunting NM for some decent gear than buying it in market wards.
This gear is obviously meant for everyone, this is NO rare gear. It is untradeable mostly for the reason so people don’t camp the spots hardcore for profit. Everyone at some point can get the gear.
All the people I met today who were camping the new NM were r 50. Some came in duos and trips, even full parries for quick kills. So there is no reason to complain about the law difficulty.
I camped Kokoroon solo and later in a duo and a trio and after many hours we only got 1 bow. The drop rate is lower for this one (the gear body is cool tho so it should not be too easy to obtain)
Some other of the NM that I soloed today were a lot easier, some dropped the gear after first kill, other after 2-3 kills.
This by no means endgame content and no one should expect super rage gear with enormous camping time for r25-30… come on. If it was too easy for you then you obviously outranked the mob. (please do not complain if you got a r25 bow with a R50 trio)

Again, try not to see this new gear as rare. It is not! Try to see it as a fun time to obtain the gear for your rank. Go out, form parties, get your gear. Its way more fun than buying it from a NPC or Market wards.

I think this content is fine for what it is. Low-mid level NMs that give players the option to jump in and get some quick loot.

The only reason that people are complaining that its hardcore camping, which it is not - trust me, is because everyone is currently running to these NMs cause they are new. Give it a like 2 weeks tops and this is going to become the content that it was designed for;

Log in -> Kill NM -> Get loot.

Difficulty should not be measured by how long it took to get X item.. especially not for low-mid level gear. End of story.

Wanna know hardcore camping? Camping the last 9 hours on Tiamat's window against another LS.

Right, This is no hardcore camping at all. They spawn just like a nomal mob (faster than many normal mobs)
The body Kokoroon drops is cool, it seems harder to get than the bow and that is ok.
It may be easy for a r50 party but a low level group will have to fight them for a while to get it

They are being camped only because it is new and i don't know how it is on other servers but on my server people always tried to team up and being rather polite, helping each other. I gave the bow to another player in our trio, i don’t even know the player but i have no use for it.
It was a fun activity for many LS to seek out the new mobs and report what loot they got.
i don’t understand why some people need to hate so much.

BTW, what do you do with the egg??? as i understand you are to collect the eggs, so i assume the NPC will give me another one after a while? It is a bit confusing because the NPC was bubbling about warming the egg or something?

Also I liked the addition of icons on the maps, it makes the city mal look more interesting and lively for some reason. Some new side quests are nice too.

yep, the egg hunt... there are some NPC in every city. Personally i want to kill the fat black rabbits and take the eggs.
I dont care much about the egg hat, i would rather have a baby chocobo hatch!
The egg hat is not gonna be rare i guess, they sure will repeat the even every year, the rabbit samurai head however is another thing, you would have to wait 12 years for another rabbit year to come

I agree. This is just some low level content for players to have fun with while leveling. People need to stop freaking out about it being "too easy" and what not. It's simple content aimed at players who are new, or to help get a piece of gear or two for a particular class while you're leveling that. I think it's a fantastic idea, adds a nice amount of variation as well while leveling which is A GOOD THING.

exactly, that is what its for and its rewarded by gear fit for their rank.
The party buf is a good thing too, it makes it possible for lower ranks take on some higher rank mobs where they normally would get killed due to too much damage per attack. it just needs balancing but SE stated exactly, that is what its for and its rewarded by gear fit for their rank.
