Race and Appearance change?

Hi guys,

I just wanted to ask this quick question..I am currently playing as a male Miqo'te and so far I am loving my character. However I've read somewhere cannot remember where I read them but apparently after being a Sub member for over 1 month you get this option to change yourself..

So my question is

1) Can you change everything or is it limited?

2) Apart from changing how you look can you also change your race?

3) Lastly if the answer to #2 is Yes then is it possible to change back after you realise that you don't like your changes or is it only a one-time thing?

From Mog Station:

Fantasia grants you a single opportunity to edit your character.
You will be allowed to change your race, gender, appearance, date of birth, and patron deity.
*Your starting class and name cannot be changed.

Changing Your Appearance
After using Fantasia, you will be allowed to change your appearance in the character creation screen upon your next login.
At the character selection screen, right click the character or press square to proceed to the character creator.
* Before using Fantasia, you must remove all equipment except for your main hand.

Precautions
- If you do not choose to change your appearance at the character selection screen, you will not lose the effect of Fantasia.
- When you have finished using the character creator, Fantasia will be consumed even if there are no changes in your character's appearance.
- The appearance change granted by Fantasia will not be saved until you have completed using the character creator.

They said they'd allow 1.0 characters who were affected by a bug (couldn't load saved data appearance during recreate and some choices got botched) recreate their characters again. However, I don't see that post and the last link to it lead to a page not found error. I really hope they follow through with that promise even though my character only had it's tail/skin botched.

On that note, I noticed my character name seems to have been blocked. You can't use it on servers even where no one has the name currently. I have no idea why since it isn't an in-game character or past FF character. When they finally do give us our recreate, will I be forced to pick a new name? If so, the longer they put this off the more annoyed I'll be unless I go reserve an alt name now.

Rumor has it that we'll be seeing a barbershop of sorts in a future patch. No word on what appearances we'll be able to change, but it will also include new hair styles.
