I'm curious on how Egi's are going to do in PvP.

If we are talking about balancing out Ifrit and Garuda I would reduce G's dps slightly and replace I's Radiant Shield with Eruption that cause DoT based on what is appealed to the targeted mob. Then again the Egi's shouldn't need to be balanced but designed so each has a specific purpose (CC, dps both AoE and single target).

The biggest issue we have is FFXI and trying to fit 14 Summoners into that role. You can't be a FFXI Summoner and at the same time you are. As an Arcanist you can chose to DPS (Summoner) or chose to Heal (Scholar). Egi's act as the dps BP while Fairies are support BP.

Going in lines of defined roles for our current Egi's
Ifrit would be my go to AoE dps focusing on up close AoE attacks
Garuda would be my single target dps focusing on distant single target attacks
Titan would be my CC focusing on bind and AoE threat attacks
