Did some extensive time on turn 5 tonight.
442 Accuracy is 100% for me, 97.8% for Garuda.
On individual pulls it's been as low as 81%.

Do you think, for a final setup, it would be worth sacrificing some crit on gear to boost Garuda to 100% accuracy, since accuracy from food will not benefit your pet? Accuracy is fairly low if you try to use gear that is all considered "BiS." I did some rough calculations that would put a 100% accuracy Garuda as an overall 2.1~% increase in DPS (Summoner and pet combined) for me. I forget what my Garuda's overall accuracy was, but it was somewhere between 95 and 98%.
Although this is for melee, valk's calculator indicates that an increase of 50 crit rate only increases overall DPS by 1.59%, which seems to indicate boosting Garuda's accuracy would give greater returns. SMN is a bit more complicated because of the pet (especially the fact that it seems to need more accuracy than its master), so it's difficult to say, and I am admittedly no math expert.
I'm going to be carrying ACC gear and summon Garuda, and then switch to my normal gear and use food*. When I get my chest Monday, I won't be sharding my Vanya, for exactly this reason.
*Remember, pet doesn't get any benefit from food which just puts us further behind, in that aspect, as compared to all other DPS.
