Please read the other 27 pages of this thread, and the other 50 pages or whatever of the other thread, and the other maybe 10s of other threads with this same idea that this isn't the "Final Fantasy" summoner.

Bottom line is, hey look, Square made this game. They decide what a summoner is.

And furthermore, you'll find the player base is pretty split on whether they like summoner or not.

You aren't going to be able to push your complete revamp of this class, because its not going to happen. Period.

Fwiw I sort of agree with you that summoner isn't what I expected. Am I going to rage about it? Nope. Just either play the class or move on.
