Can you log in to the ps3 if you have a pc account?

I heard from people that they can log in to the ps3 with their pc accounts (assuming that the characters data is stored on the account itself and its cross platform). Any truth to this?

yes need the ps3 game, and its a sure thing my brother plays it on ps3 when hes PC needs a rest lol

No disc needed. I only opened mine for the registration code.
