Just thought of that... and how awesome it will be to be able to play FFXIV:ARR through remote play on a PS Vita through a PS4.
Not sure how readable all the UI text will be, though...

That would be nice but I would rather be able to use the vita as a game pad and have hotbars on the touch screen instead of on the TV.
i said this some weeks ago in the beta and some people in here shot me down says that is really silly but i think it would rock FF14 on vita Amazing nice to see someone else thinking alike ^.^
As nice as that would be, I would love to see a native PS Vita port! I would imagine the Vita could possibly be powerful enough and would be a great thing to do a few quests on![]()
I always imagined this game on the wii-u and using the gamepad
Hotbars and constant map![]()
The big thing next-gen is connected app devices. Watchdogs is doing it so I guess it would be nice to have most of the UI like the map, chat or even hotbars mapped to the Vita. I know it could be possible because SEGA is porting Phantasy Star Online 2 to the Vita. If that isn't a testament to the Vita's capabilities as an inter-grated device alongside the PS3/4 consoles then I don't know what is. Whether SE has the interest (which I highly doubt) of doing that is another story. Btw the Vita for me is only really used for when I go to take a dump -_-" I like meat and I like games. nuff said.
when the ps4 send stuff to be remote play to the ps vita the ps4 does all the work the vita is just like a controller and screen.
You can do it now with the Nvidia SHIELD.
Yoshida said himself in an interview that a native PSVita client is itself not out of the question, at one point - but certainly it's not in any sort of formal plan.
But yes the remote play functionality would itself be neat, huh?
