Still no Physical CE... (Canada)

I'm in Edmonton and got the shipping email on the 20th. It arrived this afternoon with a $14.20 customs fee. Luckily the mailman was willing to take $20.20 and give me $5 back with a promise to give me the $1 tomorrow. He came back later this afternoon with the dollar lol.

My order and my brothers shipped on the 20th but so far we haven't received either copy yet. Considering today is our last day to play before having to register our keys this is a bit disconcerting. If it doesn't arrive tomorrow then we won't be able to play until next week sometime.

With every other collectors edition I have ordered for an mmo it has always arrived before the release date of the game but in the end this is Square, lol.

Ordering from the US has never really been an excellent idea, in my case. :/ Which is why I changed my order to EBgames (ugh, I know.) when I saw they had them. :/ Wish I could have convinced my friend to do the same. She would have gotten her order already.

I've ordered piles of stuff from amazon in the states and various other companies and never had an issue with it.

the problem is digital river runs the distribution side of SE's online store and they're absolutely soul suckingly terribad.

I ordered my copy through the online store (physical CE) and the game still hasn't arrived. It's currently in Massachusetts, and I'm in NY, so I'm hoping that it'll be here by Saturday. I suppose not having the game to distract me will allow me to put all my attention towards finishing homework so I do have free time for when I get FFXIV, at least.

Duty charge, not shipping fee and this isnt SE charging you btw. Duty, and for example this is why I order physical items from newegg.CA instead of newegg.COM. Is not so much a problem with digital purchases though.

I am in Ottawa Canada and got my CE Tuesday. IF you bought it from the SE store get ready to get a 20 dollars custom fee slapped on it and you have to pay it in cash at the door way... I ended up getting the CE on Wednesday at the post office. BS!

Last time I order anything tangible from SE. I knew I should have used EB games Canada... I would have got the fabric banner as well. Instead an additional charge >_>
