How hard is it to stop someone from spamming shouts in a city?
person X shouts nonstop about gil here on this site come buy bla bla.
100+ ppl add this person X to blacklist. And many even report them.

Why in Garuda's name can't a GM just look at the chatboxes in any city?
When a shout apears with RMT. GM send a quick tell saying for example "You are shouting about ilegal RMT, one more shout and you will be banned." And ofcourse the person X will shout more, since most likely a bot(program) that is doing the shouting.
Person X doesnt stop shouting. GM press the BAN HAMMER BUTTON! POOOF one RMT down. (many more to go). Honestly I just don't get it!! Im out leveling still, and only back in Uldah once or twice during this week. And all I see is theese shouts. START BANNING !!!!!

I agree with you, but you should really add to one of the many threads that already exists on this forum. Otherwise, you are just creating spam, which is quite rude, and very much like the annoying RMT shouters you're complaining about.

You are absoluttely right Mr Minihalcyon. The frustration and anger got to me... Its a game SE owns the game, SE owns the world. So they must do something... grrrr..
Its not like in the real world where u must get trials etc etc... Just hit that BAN HAMMER..

Multiple threads are needed on this until they give an answer IMHO. The lack of response on this so far is no less than astounding. I don't care if they banned 500 people, there are 1000 more out there now. I don't think its so hard to have some guy with 3 monitors monitoring 3 servers just jumping from 1 cities chat to another and banning. These spammers shouldn't last for more than 30 minutes. DAYS to delete some of them!? Unheard of.

Um, no, they aren't, and certainly NOT in the General Discussion forum. They have already acknowledged the issue, and know it is an problem. Doing in the Forums what the RMT do in game isn't going to help anything. It's just clutter.

Funny, the forums have a post limit to prevent such a thing. Where is that in game?
