Until someone finally figures out where to get the bathing suits, all you'd get is a shitty mount, a char remake and 2 pets.
Also, GTCs are there for this precise reason. I know you know this, but I don't understand what SE is supposed to do about lacking availability where ever you live.

I think I saw bathing suits at Mor Dhona, but I forget what currency is required for it, it wasn't gil.

Yes, the location is the question (so thanks for that)- the currency is from vet rewards.

Edit: yep, swimwear is acquired from Aelina, who can be found in Mor Dhona at Revenant's Toll.
