Upgrading from Standard to Collectors!

Hey everyone,

I had myself 2 collector's edition keys because I was impatient and Square Enix's French store was being too slow for me. Anyway I went and gave my other collector's edition cdkey that was never used to a guild mate, who has already applied his standard edition.

Anyway he's not able to find a way to apply this cdkey to his account to do a direct upgrade from a cdkey, but it appears there is an option to pay for an upgrade.

So my question is, has anyone found a way to apply a cdkey to a standard to upgrade it to collectors?

i sort of same here, got normal and also a CE digital key i cant redem, i sent square a ticked 2days ago and other then saying they recevied i still no better off

If you already have standard edition you can't apply a full on CE key to it. You need to use the upgrade feature, essentially you bought something you weren't supposed to.
