218k at the same time or 4360 people per server. Probably close to 2 million people have bought it or played it. It's not WoW, but it's pretty impressive for a game that was "dead on arrival" a few years ago.

I get the difference, thanks... It just doesn't strike me as that many people.
Where is Reinheart to translate when you need him!
I'm sure he's already at work on itGive the poor dude a break.
I did translate the most relevant parts in the post the OP linked. The rest is mostly explanation on why they choose to act as they did. I'm also quite sure that we'll get an official translation of the whole post soon.
I honestly feel they should not post until they have an official translation ready for us, and post them both at the same time, it is quite annoying that Japan get news well before we do.I'm sure he's already at work on itGive the poor dude a break.

Er no.. it is not normal, american games do not have Japanese servers, and if they did I can be pretty certain they would translate first just like European games with multiple language servers translate their news.
Such a ridiculous comparison.

This is a Japanese game, my friend. It's normal.
When Japanese gamers play American games, the american company handling them doesn't wait to post until they have a Japanese translation ready to go. I don't see why it should be different when it's the other way around.
Sure they do. There's plenty games out there that have Japanese/asian servers or are operated officially in Japan on the same servers (EVE is an example for instance). And moderators/Devs don't wait to have an official Japanese translation before they post on the forums.
This is a Japanese game, plain and simple. America/Europe can't always be the center of the world. Better learn to cope with that idea. We should be happy already that we get updates/patches at the same time, which is true for a very small number of games operated from Asia.
U seriously just need to stop and think about something for a second. In those games you are talking about the japanese playerbase is a big minority so they don't get the immediate attention. Idc if they are a japanese company because their game is being funded predominantly by the NA/EU audience. By doing what they are doing they are leaving their majority playerbase behind. Stop defending everything they crap out especially the stuff that makes zero sense.
2.0 players have already been give 3 free days from what I can see, someone i know had 33 days after EA and putting in their 2.0 code.
Seems 1.0 players got overlooked as I currently still only have 2 weeks, I assume because 1.0 players do not get into EA unless they preorder a second copy.

I've been able to play just fine, but I'm glad that they've been sorting out the bugs and giving back some lost time to those who have been severely affected.
