Login issues are getting better. I am almost positive there were more people online last night than I have ever seen in the game. All the cities/outposts were PACKED. This game is fantastic. The only issue was not being able to play it. Glad to see it being remedied so quickly. Well done Yoshi!

I think login issues are getting better, too. Last night was the first in a few days where I was actually able to log, and it only took about fifteen minutes of spamming the login button to do it. I even accidentally cancelled out of the queue once, and was able to get right back in (I almost throat-punched myself for doing that, though). The game play once I got in seemed to be getting a bit more fluid, as well. Crowded fates were definitely handling the action better.

gee... idk im still unable to play... just 2 haours and its at 6 am to 7 if lucky to 8... then im booted and then its says that i cant get in cuss my character its logged.... soo i hope those days are big in numbers.. cuss. i dint enjoyed the preorder days... and im not enjoying when i got the game... i did enjoyed the beta...

I'm a 1.0 non legacy player.
From what i understand we started our 15 free days on the 27, Do we also get free days? or only new subscribers? and how many days?

I would also like to know this, I'm a 1.0 non-legacy player as well. But I hope the free days will also count for any 1.0 players, not only just the new customers that bought FFXIV ARR.

I would think 1.0/legacy players would get them too, but I don't think there is a confirmation. I'm pretty sure it's all players since it would be a lot simpler to implement. I don't think they said how many days it wil be though. Probably a week imo.

For the launch of a pay to play MMORPG yes, it's that much. We're talking about players online at the same time, not total players. If I had a dollar for every time someone doesn't get the difference...

Lets celebrate getting back the number of days we couldn't play the game we paid for! This is the most basic of customer service. We still are dog excrement on the bottom of their shoe compared to their precious Japanese servers.

Of course there has to be a troll that tries (and fails badly) to spin good news as bad news.

Yes, must be a troll if we won't bow down and lick the devs feet for giving back days that their OWN INCOMPETENCE took away from us. It isn't a gift to correct a mistake, that is the bare minimum. I don't understand people like you. Do you think square devs are gonna pat you on the head and call you a good boy because you defended the indefensible?

There have been people with your mindset throughout time. In the slave days you woulda been one of the house slaves, kissing massas boots and telling all the other slaves how kind and sweet massa is on the inside, and how he only whips the slaves because he has to! Disgraceful.

218k **concurrent** users is huge! That is how many people are on at the same time on all the servers. Not total players. That is an insanely high amount of people for any MMO.
