Picked wrong character to be my main in forums - any way to change?

My wife and I created characters last Saturday and I set one of them as my avatar in the forums. Unfortunately we have only been able to access that server once since then.

So, my forum account is stuck in limbo. Is there any way to disassociate the forum avatars once you have picked one?

Settings (top right of page) -> Edit Characters -> click star on the on you want. Done

Yes click on the little star, i clicked all over the place until i found that by accident. It may be intuitive but being a dummy as I am, it would be nice to be told what to do somewhere
