Help with GC hunting logs

I'm in twin adder and on the first log, the tenth entry notes "Ixali Fearcaller" in Coerthas Central Highlands. I went all over Dragonhead and found the camp of Ixali, with the Fearcaller but everything is lvl 37! All of the other nine entries where in the low 20s so is there something I missed or another area with lower lvl Fearcallers? It would seem odd to have level 37 enemies on the first rank, especially when all other entries where at least 10 lvls lower.

I am curious...did you try and pull it and beat it? You might be able to ...get someone to help put some hurt on it but do enough to get credit. There should be a lower level somewhere I would think..have not done that one myself yet. I have noticed in the hunting logs that where they tell you the creature is at is not always the case...I had to find Mandragoras in a completely differnt area than what it listed...I looked forever and day and night.

Yes, I'm an archer so I pulled it away from the rest of the group, but it is a ranged enemy so I can't kite it and it kills me in 6 or so shots. I know about the alternate areas for enemies and that's why I was asking. I had found some of the hunting log enemies from thanalan in the shroud and was hoping someone would know of a similar case for this enemy. BTW I'm lvl 30, not 24 as the site displays.

Some of the enemies on the Hunt logs are indeed very hard. I found that it helped to wait for others to come along who have the same target and help them, and it builds a nice feeling among players. I go back later and help others myself and it helps bulid our skills too. Often in my quests others have come to help me generously and I always like that. Hope get past this. We are rooting for you.

Forgive the necro post, but new players are beginning all the time. I found this information rather by accident. There are two distinct areas in Coerthas with two different levels of Ixali Fearcallers. At Dragonhead 31,27 or so they are level 30, but at Providence Point 32,15 they are indeed 37 and far more difficult to kill. I hope this helps.

Solfleur is correct - there's a hidden cave somewhat southeasterly of the Observatorium in Coerthas where a group of Ixal can be found around the low level 30s, including Fearcallers. I actually discovered this by accident after I had already completed that log when doing a levequest in that area.

Here's a map. Note that they're also available in North Shroud (click the drop-down just above the map). Not sure if those are lower or higher level. I'm pretty sure they'd count, though. It seems that as long as it has the same name, it counts, regardless of level, zone, or source.

A lot of hunting log monsters are available in FATEs or Leves, or in different zones, than the log lists, at very different levels. I know MRD 40's Grenades in Outer La Noscea count Grenades you can get about 10 levels lower through a Leve in Costa Del Sol, for one example.
