Plz read the post SE and change archer/bard limit break. Make it dps single target or something.

Whether or not you think Bard is supposed to be more "support role", right now we have to queue as damage, so we should get a damage dealer limit break. Plain and simple.

If they want to add a "support" role to the Duty Finder, then I'd be fine with the current setup.

Honestly i think the heal is fine, I feel a single target attack doesn't really fit a bard (not only that but we already hit like trucks). However that doesn't mean i think the heal is the best option.

I think a cool limit break would be a song that provides buffs to damage, defense, mana regen maybe and so on....maybe depending on your class you get a specific buff or maybe everyone would get like a 10% increase to everything for x seconds.

Again the heal is fine, but if the do change the LB it needs to be to something like this not something that makes me shoot a giant laser at the enemy (as cool as that would be)

The heal isn't fine, not when you're stuck in parties with NO DPS LIMIT BREAKS yet 2 DPS positions are full.

Bard was never a "heal bot" giving us a healing limit break was lazy and a poor decision.

Looking to the positive side: As a SCH, when things go pear-shaped, I would much rather have a BRD use LB3 than myself. It stun locks for far too long and a whole lot of the time the Auto-Raise puts people in the bad which need tending too ASAP.

Actually as a bard i found pretty useful that lb. Having 2 classes that can do big healing if needed in a party, with a big tanking lb and a big damaging lb is perfect in my opinion.

yeaah...no. I agree with BRDs dnt use their songs enough, I dnt agree with the BRD LB being "right". BRDs are mainly dps, support being songs & we que as dps, we need a dps LB. Only time a heal LB has been useful as BRD was when tank or healer screwed up(pull was too big or healer los'ed etc.) & then BRD can use the "oh sh*t!" button LB but other than that its garbage. If you use a BRD LB you are sacrificing the chance for a dps LB from a DGN/MNK/BLM/SMN or def LB from tanks which are more useful than a heal LB since you have a class in your party who...i dont know? heals? In any case BRDs need to either get a high dmg single target LB or an AOE LB cuz as it stands BRD are pretty useless in the LB department especially if you are in a 4man run with 2 BRD as you dps

I like the idea that someone said about a regen on MP/TP or maybe a big debuff on all the enemies around for a short period.

Obviously the healing limit break is there because of the conjurer subclass before it was changed to pugilist.

I don't find it useless as I've actually used it many times in situations like Everyone is low on HP and the tank is about to die but the healer is trying to avoid an aoe so has no time to cast heals on the tank. I've also been with a party that barely beat the boss where the other dps and the healer is dead because I've topped myself off and the tank.
